Communications Mentorship Program

EiM's Communications Mentorship Program provides focused professional development for early-career school communications professionals, particularly those who are new to working in public education. Upon completion of the program and its practical “To Do” homework assignments, participants will have gained a more thorough understanding of the most critical issues and strategies to consider when managing a communications program for a public school system of any size.

Remote Working

This one-on-one mentorship program runs 10 sequential weeks, one hour per
week. Each weekly mentorship meeting covers a topic intended to grow the participant's understanding of working for a public school district and the nuanced organizational relationships inherent to the profession. The program also provides 10 hours of as-needed, "Counselor On Call" services to participants for the purpose of providing professional guidance, brainstorming support, or advice on managing crises and other issues that may arise during their participation in the program.
